Terrell Woods – (Carnage the Executioner/Terrell X’avion)
Board Member at Large
Carnage The Executioner A.K.A. Terrell X’avion started his musical journey in 1984 – at age 10. Since then, he has spent the last 30 years professionally making music, motivational speaking, performing as a one-man band, traveling the world, and educating all ages of people from various socio-economic backgrounds.
Carnage is a self-contained instrument and master collaborator. The Minneapolis Star Tribune made the claim that “Carnage’s mouth might be the best drummer in town,” referring to his human beat boxing techniques. Carnage is a shameless survivor of poverty, physical, emotional and sexual abuse, who makes no excuses for his upbringing. Instead, he draws inspiration from it to practice self-reflection. Carnage began living a plant-based lifestyle in 2017. His commitment to eating a vegan diet has allowed him to see the importance of showing empathy towards animals. In 2019, Carnage started a grassroots movement called Plant Based Poets. His mission is to unite lovers of music, as well as people who encourage freedom for each and every living being who depends on the health of Earth’s roots for survival.
On his 2019 album, “Ravenous,” Carnage is extremely honest about often embracing negativity, over-eating and attracting whatever attention he could ingest. After losing 150+ pounds and gaining a clearer mindset, Carnage believes it’s his calling to become an everlasting example of how we can all continuously strive to be better versions of ourselves.
